One Bistro volunteers are the heart behind our mission! While we pray for volunteers to bless our community by being the hands and feet of Jesus, all are welcome regardless of faith. Volunteers fall into two categories:
- Those who volunteer in order to provide a meal for themselves and/or their families.
- Those who volunteer to help as staff and assist in providing meals to those in need.
Volunteers must be age 15 and above. Anyone under age 15 may serve with supervision, however, the adult must contact the Manager at 937.736.2358 prior to signing up online. For every 2 children under age 15, 1 adult must be present and tasks are at Manager’s discretion. Prior to volunteering, please read and sign the following policies, and view the training videos. Forms may be submitted when volunteering for the first time.
- Training Manual
- Volunteer Agreement

While we encourage volunteers to sign up online in advance, anyone may stop in during café hours to see if help is needed. Groups are also welcome to serve together. Email us at email@example.com and we’ll find the perfect opportunity for your group!

Core Team Volunteers
In addition, volunteers are needed outside of regular café hours. Share your special skills and consider joining a Core Team of passionate and dedicated volunteers that serve in various roles. If interested, talk to a Manager or complete the sign up form and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org.
